As one strong storm system exits, the next arrives.
More showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday, but rainfall amounts are trending lower than what fell on Monday. Arrives east of Billings are most likely to get rain with a few isolated storms.
High temperatures will be mainly in the 70s. Expect a mix of clouds and sun with a West wind about 10 to 20 mph.
Partly to mostly clear with mainly the 50s overnight.
For Wednesday, expect the warmest temperatures of the week with a highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Sunshine early with a few isolated afternoon and evening storms.
The next round of strong to severe storms is timing out to Thursday evening. The storms could contain damaging winds and hail along with heavy rain and frequent lightning.
Stretches of many of the rivers are still running full or flooding. Conditions may worsen with additional rainfall in the coming days.
