Rain could be heavy at times, and that heightens flooding concerns.
For Memorial Day, expect cool and wet conditions across much of the area. Scattered thunderstorms and area rain are likely.
With cloud cover, high temperatures will be mainly in the 60s to a few low 70s Monday. The heaviest rain totals can be expected south of Billings. Many area rivers and streams will be at or near flood level the next few days.
With abundant moisture in the atmosphere, the chance of rain lingers Tuesday, but temperatures will rise some with periods of sun.
