Gusty winds will be found in the mountain foothills today, with Livingston to Harlowton seeing up to 50 mph wind gusts possible. Breezy around Billings, at 15 to 25 mph.
Expect mainly dry conditions Tuesday, with a mix of clouds and sun. Clouds will increase later in the day’s weather as a disturbance starts to move in. High temperatures will be mainly in the 40s East of Billings and mid to lower 50s from Billings towards the mountains.
Showers will increase across the area Tuesday evening. Scattered rain and snow showers will be followed by colder air late tonight and early tomorrow morning, with much of the region around freezing first thing tomorrow.
There could be some light accumulations of snow in the lower elevations with several inches over the mountains.
A series of disturbances will increase the amount of showers over the next few days, with high temperatures in the 30s and 40s on Wednesday and Thursday.
And Arctic front drops across the region Friday or Friday night. Gusty winds could develop ahead of this cold front, with much chillier temperatures by Saturday. Expect areas of snow, with highs only in the 20s to low 30s.

Tuesday… A high of about 56 with a West wind 15 to 25 mph. Increasing afternoon clouds.
Tuesday night… A chance of evening rain showers, and then a chance of rain and snow overnight. Low of about 36.
Wednesday… Rain and snow showers with possible breaks in the clouds. A high of around 45.
