enter link description hereSnow and blowing snow work their way back in the forecast this weekend.

Temperatures remain below seasonal averages again Friday and Saturday, with afternoon readings mainly in the 30s. Some 40s are expected Friday, especially in the mountain foothills and through Northern Wyoming, and Billings could see some low 40s around town.

Expect a mix of clouds and sun both days, with winds decreasing in the Livingston foothills through this evening.

Saturday morning temperatures will start mainly in the teens to low 20s, and top off in the mid-to-lower 30s. As clouds increase Saturday, start watching for snow.

Snow is expected to begin late Saturday, and may be heavy at times through Monday east of Billings. Gusty winds could bring blowing and drifting snow, especially in Southeast Montana and across portions of Northern Wyoming.

Current expected snow amounts could be 3 to 6 inches form Billings to the west. The Red Lodge foothills be in for 5-9 inches, and 5-9 inches could fall and blow around Eastern Montana and Sheridan County Wyoming.

A dip to the south or a bob to the north with this system could make a significant difference in snow amounts, so check back for updates.

Friday night…Mostly cloudy with a low near 20.
