0 0

Click for 7 day Forecast After a very busy first half of February, the month is ending on a quieter note.

High temperatures will be mainly in the 30s and the teens for the lows for the next several days. A few spots could spike into the low 40s Thursday and Friday as a week high-pressure Ridge builds in.

Wind gusts of 20 to 40 miles an hour around the Livingston and Big Timber area look on track for Wednesday and Thursday.

Mainly dry conditions persist through the early weekend, but the chance of snow increases Saturday night into Sunday.

Below average temperatures will likely continue into next week. Highs would normally be 40 to 45 in Billings, and lows average in the low 20s in early March.

Billings forecast:

Wednesday… Mostly sunny with a high of about 36. Westerly wind 5 to 15 mph.

Wednesday night… Partly cloudy with a low near 14. Wind chill values as low as zero.

Thursday… Partly sunny with a high of around 37.
