Afternoon high temperatures will be mainly in the teens with a few low 20s across southern Montana northern Wyoming today. That is still running about 20 to 25° colder than average highs this time of year.
And increasing clouds as possible this afternoon, as a cold front moves across the region. This will likely create some higher elevation snow showers.
Overnight temperatures once again slip to the single digits and teens below zero by early Friday.
Overall, temperatures will be a few degrees warmer on Friday with readings in the mid teens to mid 20s. Expect a bit more sunshine Friday, but winds will increase around Livingston and Nye by the evening.
The trend will be warmer toward the weekend with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s. But periods of wind will continue from Billings to the West.
