It gets a little warmer, but it doesn’t get warm. And it is a slow process.
In the short term, bundle up Wednesday for cold wind chills despite some sunshine.
Temperatures over the next few days will slow edge upward, but only by a few degrees each day.
Highs will be mainly low teens in the lower elevations Wednesday, mainly upper teens on Thursday, with a few more 20s by Friday afternoon.
Lows will still slip below zero through Friday morning.
The mountains and possibly the neighboring foothills will pick up a little snow form a series of disturbances. For the lower elevations, those disturbances will mean breezy periods and clouds and come and go.
