A dividing line of colder and warmer air will continue to create snow showers.
A stationary front continues to wobble back and forth across the region. Today, Billings will stay on the colder side of the line with temperatures mainly in the teens. Expect single digits to low teens across the Eastern plains, with 20s and of the mountain foothills.
Snow will be most likely West of a line from Roundup to Billings to Sheridan, Wyoming. Around 2 inches of new snow will be common with up to 4 inches in some of the lower elevations.
Overnight temperatures will fall mainly to the teens from Billings to the West, but subzero temperatures are likely in Eastern Montana. Areas of light snow could continue this evening from Billings to the West.
For Tuesday, warmer air shifts back towards Billings with readings in the 20s and 30s from Billings westward, and teens across the Eastern plains.

Monday… Around 2 inches of new snow. A high near 14. East breeze around 5 mph.
Monday night… Snow likely with light accumulations. Around 10° for the low.
Tuesday… Mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of light snow. Warmer, with a high of about 26.
