Click for 7 Day Forecast The overall trend the next few days will be warmer and drier. But some areas will be a little more stubborn than others in getting rid of the cold.

A Ridge of high pressure across the Western US will continue to edge temperatures upward the next few days. Higher elevations will tend to warm work quickly, with sheltered areas in low-lying areas with more snow cover holding onto the cold temperatures longer.

There is a disturbance moving from British Columbia across Montana through the day today. That will produce clouds, and a chance of sprinkles are flurries especially through midday.

Cold air from the Bighorn Basin in northern Wyoming will also follow the River valleys and could hold temperatures back in low-lying areas.

Winds up the East slopes of the Rockies will cause some blowing and drifting especially West of Billings. But, the downsloping winds will also aid in our warm-up.

Wednesday… A slight chance of sprinkles or flurries through midday. Otherwise partly to mostly cloudy with a high near 34. Some patchy blowing snow in the morning.

Wednesday night… Decreasing clouds becoming mostly clear. A low around 21. Southwest breeze.
