Wind will highlight Monday’s weather, with strong wind gusts in the mountain foothills of 50 to 75 mph. Around Billings, breezy at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 40 mph.

Expect a mix of clouds and sun with highs mainly in the upper 30s to upper 40s Monday. A few low 50s are possible in Southeast Montana and northern Wyoming.

A bit quieter on Tuesday, with highs in the 30s to low 40s and generally mostly cloudy. Winds will increase by the evening.

Wednesday brings a good chance of snow and periods of wind.

Temperatures get colder with scattered snow showers on Thursday.

The chilly air really starts to dig in Friday, Saturday and Sunday. By the weekend, highs will likely be in the teens with the single digits above and below zero for the overnight lows.
