Click for 7 Day Forecast After record warm temperatures Tuesday, Wednesday marks the beginning of changes in our weather pattern.

Highs will still be above seasonal averages Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the 40s in most locations. It will be breezy, but not as windy, as Tuesday.

Snow is likely in Southwest Montana Wednesday around Bozeman and Butte. This system will increase the chance of rain and snow showers west of Billings.

Wind increase Wednesday night, with snow showers popping up east of Billings through Southeast Montana through Thursday morning.

As for Billings and the immediate surrounding area, the chance of rain and snow increases Friday night through Saturday morning.

Highs will stay mainly in the 40s until the middle of next week.

There are signals of much colder and wetter weather closer to Christmas, but details are still unclear.

Billings forecast:

Wednesday…Increasing clouds, with a high near 47. Westerly wind 10-20 mph.

Wednesday night…Low of about 31 and mostly cloudy. A slight chance of a rain or snow shower. Winds increase to 15-25 mph.

Thursday…Sunny to mostly sunny, and around 46 for a high. Breezy.
