Not record setting heat, but a pretty nice weekend

Click for 7 Day Forecast The Thanksgiving record-setting temperatures are gone. Rain and mountain snow shows are quickly exiting. What is left is a pretty comfortable weekend.

A much quieter weather days in store Friday. Showers are exiting the region through the morning. Winds will remain breezy, but nothing like the gusts of recent days.

With a sunny to mostly sunny afternoon, high temperatures will be cooler, mainly in the upper 40s to mid 50s. That is still about 5 to 15° warmer than seasonal averages.

Overnight readings will be cooler, dropping mainly to the 20s to low 30s. Mostly clear after dark.

For Saturday, sunny to mostly sunny with highs back into the upper 40s and 50s.

Sunday warms again, with highs hitting the upper 50s to mid 60s. That puts us in the neighborhood of a few record highs.

Billings forecast:

Friday… Sunny, with a high near 54. Northwest wind 10 to 25 mph.

Friday night… Mostly clear, with a low around 32. Light westerly wind.

Saturday… Sunny and back to about 54 for the high temperature. Southwest wind 10 to 20 mph.
