Click Here for 7 Day Forecast Even though Tuesday afternoon temperatures will be close to seasonal averages, it will be the cool day the week. We are still on track for possible record high temperatures Thursday.

As a cold front quickly slides out of the region Tuesday morning, expect a mix of clouds and sunshine for the afternoon. Highs will be mainly into the upper 30s to mid 40s.

Winds will increase around the Livingston/Nye area with gusts by Tuesday afternoon and this evening of 60 mph. At the same time, winds will increase toward Billings southwesterly at 15 to 25 miles an hour.

Periods of wind will continue through Thursday.

Readings during the evening will be into the 30s, but much of the area will begin to warm overnight. Cloudy to mostly cloudy early Wednesday.

Wednesday afternoon highs will be in the upper 50s to mid 60s.

Temperature stay very mild again on Thursday, with Thanksgiving afternoon highs challenging some records.

Clouds increase late Thursday bringing a chance of higher elevation snow and rain across the plains Thursday night through Friday morning. Something to keep in mind for Black Friday shopping.

Billings forecast:

Tuesday… Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. Light Southwest wind by the afternoon.

Tuesday night… Mostly cloudy with temperatures beginning to rise during the late evening and overnight hours. Southwest wind increases 15 to 25 miles an hour.

Wednesday… Partly sunny, with high temperatures at around 63. West winds 15-25 mph.
