Click for 7 Day Forecast A cold front moving through the area midday Wednesday holds the temperatures in check for a couple of afternoons. But expect some snow to melt by Friday afternoon with warmer readings.
A cold front should move through the region through Wednesday morning and early afternoon, keeping temperatures steady or dropping through the rest of the day. Highs will be mainly in the mid to lower 30s, with some upper 30s to low 40s through northern Wyoming.
In general, the sky will be mostly cloudy. Southwesterly winds will shift to the North as the front passes through. Gusty winds around Livingston and along I 90 will ease up as the front passes, reducing the chance of blowing snow.
Thursday will start again in the single digits in teens and return to the mid to lower 30s for the afternoon highs. Expect a mostly cloudy day, with a slight chance of a flurry or even spotty areas of freezing rain first thing in the morning.
Temperatures will pump to the mid-40s on Friday. Highs will likely stay in the 40s each afternoon through at least Monday, with overnight temperatures mainly in the 20s.
There are still hints we could pick up some showers late Friday or early Saturday.
