Cool Monday with rain, snow and chilly week ahead

Click for 7 Day Forecast Despite sunshine mix with a few clouds Monday, temperatures will stay cool all day long. With the exception of Tuesday, wetter and cooler conditions are on the way the rest of the week.

Some lingering showers could remain in Southeast Montana and the Bighorn Mountains of northern Wyoming through this afternoon. Otherwise, expect a mix of clouds and sun, with highs mainly in the 30s to around 40°.

With a light northerly breeze today and tonight, temperatures will get chilly by Tuesday morning with readings in the mid teens to the mid 20s.

Partly to mostly cloudy Tuesday, with readings mainly in the 50s. Clouds will increase Tuesday evening, with increasing winds down the East mountain slopes around Livingston and Big Timber.

Some of the wind will spread toward Billings by Tuesday evening, with a chance of rain and snow showers. The best chance of precipitation will be overnight.

Wednesday, highs will be mainly in the 40s regionwide with areas of rain showers mixed with snow by Wednesday afternoon and evening. More rain and snow with colder temperatures on the way for Thursday.

Billings forecast:

Monday… Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Northerly wind 5 to 15 mph.

Monday night… Partly cloudy with a low of about 26. Light wind.

Tuesday… Partly sunny, with a high around 54. Clouds increase with a chance of showers late Tuesday.
