Wednesday afternoon highs will be cooler, but still above seasonal averages. Readings will be in the 60s to low 70s.
Winds will again start to increase down the East mountain slopes this afternoon and this evening. Areas around Livingston and Nye could see gusts of 40 to 50 miles an hour late Wednesday, Wednesday night, and Thursday.
Thursday will be sunny and warmer, with highs well in the 70s.
A cold front will move through during the day on Friday. That will knock temperatures back to the upper 50s to 60s, and create some wind and rain showers as the front passes through.
Saturday looks cool and breezy. Some strong winds could form into the mountains and foothills around the Beartooth and Absaroka mountain ranges.
