Warm and dry week ahead

Click for 7 Day Forecast Expect a warm and dry week with periods of wind. Naturally, changes are in store just before the weekend.

High temperatures will be into the 60s to mid 70s likely through Friday. The afternoons will be sunny, and the overnights will be clear to mostly clear.

Strong winds will occur especially in the mountain foothills from Livingston to Nye. Top gusts Monday will hit to around 45 mph, but could peak closer to 55 to 60 miles an hour Tuesday.

This will dry the air out, and keep things breezy around the Billings area for the next several days.

A cold front will moves through Friday night into Saturday, dropping temperatures from around 70 Friday afternoon to the upper 50s on Saturday. Even with the front passing, the chance of rain remains fairly low.

Billings forecast:

Monday… Sunny with a high near 72. West wind 10 to 20 mph.

Monday night… Clear, with a low of about 44. West breeze 5 to 15 mph.

Tuesday… Sunny, with a high near 75. Westerly winds increase to 15 to 25 mph.
