There is a good chance we could reach the September 12 record high temperature at Billings Logan Field is 93° set in 2005. A haze of wildfire smoke could hold us back by a degree or two. Expect plenty of sun and a light South breeze.

Generally partly cloudy overnight, with temperatures in the upper 50s to mid 60s early Wednesday.

Wednesday will run about 10° cooler than Tuesday, with the highs in the mid to lower 80s. Clouds will increase, with a chance of rain showers by Wednesday evening.

Rain showers are likely on Thursday and Friday, with high temperatures as cool as the 40s and low 50s Friday afternoon. Snow is possible in the mountains and may close Beartooth Pass.

The sun will return, and temperatures will begin to warm, especially by Sunday and Monday.

Tuesday night… Partly cloudy and a low near 62.

Wednesday… Increasing clouds and around 83 for the high. A chance of rain showers or isolated thunderstorms by evening.
