A ridge of high pressure across the region will bring a sunny sky, warming temperatures in the upper 80s to mid-90s, and very low relative humidity.

The exception Wednesday evening will be isolated mountain storms.

The Ridge starts to break down on Thursday, allowing moisture to stream back into the area as a cold front triggers increasing thunderstorm activity. Temperatures will still be warm, with highs in the 80s to low 90s.

Cooler air will follow on Friday, with a few isolated storms.
