The exception Wednesday evening will be isolated mountain storms.
The Ridge starts to break down on Thursday, allowing moisture to stream back into the area as a cold front triggers increasing thunderstorm activity. Temperatures will still be warm, with highs in the 80s to low 90s.
Cooler air will follow on Friday, with a few isolated storms.
