Behind last night’s cold front, temperatures will take a bit of a drop today. Readings will still remain above seasonal averages, but afternoon highs will be into the 80s to low 90s.
The Billings airport could stay below 90° for the first time since July 1.
Expect the mostly sunny afternoon, with a light breeze.
Overnight, readings will be into the 50s to low 60s and generally partly to mostly clear.
By Wednesday afternoon, temperatures will trend slightly warmer. Readings into the upper 90s to 100s are possible from Thursday onward through the weekend.
A few disturbances over the next several days could bring an isolated shower thunderstorm. But, the overall trend is very warm and dry.
