Afternoon temperatures may slipped by a few degrees compared to yesterday, but will still remain well above seasonal averages. Expect a mostly sunny day with temperatures mainly in the 90s.
A bit of an easterly breeze is an indication of slightly cooler air moving in. The relative humidity will remain low, with readings in the teens to 20s by Thursday afternoon.
The threat for an isolated thunderstorm will remain in the area for late Thursday and again Friday, especially from Billings to the West. The biggest threat from these storms are gusty winds with lightning that could start wildfires.
Readings in the 90s and likely some triple digits are possible through the weekend and into early next week. Highs in the 90s could easily continue until next weekend.
