Hot and Dry to Hotter and Drier

Click Here for 7 Day Forecast A prolonged period of hot and dry weather is just beginning. By the middle of next week, we should see our hottest temperatures so far in 2017.

Warmer and drier conditions will start Friday, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Expect to sunny to a mostly sunny afternoon with a light Southwest wind.

Over the weekend, a couple of disturbances will bring in a few clouds and some isolated high-elevation showers or thunderstorms, especially on Sunday. Otherwise, highs a be in the upper 80s to low 90s and sunny to partly sunny.

Temperatures continue to notch upward early next week, with readings in the mid to lower 90s on Monday and Tuesday.

By midweek, highs could hit the 90s to triple digits.

With high heat and low humidity, wildfire risks will continue to increase. Use caution with anything that could cause flames or sparks, especially fireworks.

Billings forecast:

Friday… Generally sunny, with a high near 80. Light Southwest breeze.

Friday night… Mostly clear, and around 57 for the low.

Saturday… Sunny to mostly sunny, and hot. A high near 90.
