A disturbance moving from West to East across Montana northern Wyoming will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms through Thursday afternoon and evening. The chance of strong storms is lower today, with general rain showers and thunderstorms most likely from Billings to the South.

Temperatures will be running cooler than average, with highs mainly in the 60s. Billings could be around 70 for a high Thursday afternoon.

A trend towards drier weather starts tonight, with temperatures running about 10° warmer by Friday afternoon. Upper 80s to low 90s are possible on Saturday and Sunday.

Although the risk is low around Billings, a few scattered showers and thunderstorms could develop Saturday.

A consistent dry pattern with hot temperatures is expected next week.
