Monday is hot and dry.  Fire risk increases.  Tuesday is a little cooler, but the risk of thunderstorms increased.

Monday will be warm as an upper ridge moves over the area.  Humidity levels will be low with teens to lower 20s.

Southeast winds will increase over eastern Montana and northwest South Dakota, with some gusts to 30 mph possible.

A cold front will push across the area Monday night into Tuesday. This will provide gusty northwest winds and an increased chance of thunderstorms.

There is some chance of strong to severe storms from Billings to the south.

Tuesday...A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
