Temps peak, then drop the rest of the week

With lots of sunshine, temperatures will be warmer Monday than Sunday, with afternoon highs mainly in the mid to lower 80s. Winds will be lighter that over the weekend.

Temperatures hit their peak tomorrow, with highs in the mid to lower 90s. As a cold front approaches, clouds will increase with a slight chance of late day showers and thunderstorms.

There is a marginal chance of strong to severe storms with wind and hail being the biggest threats. However, storms should be fairly quick moving.

Temperatures will steadily drop through the end the work week. Highs will be in the 80s on Wednesday, upper 70s by Thursday, and in the 60s Friday and Saturday.

Expect hit and miss showers and thunderstorms through the end of the week.

Billings forecast:

Monday… Sunny, with a high near 83. Light westerly wind.

Monday night… Mostly clear, with a low of about 58.

Tuesday… Sunny early with a few clouds late in the day. A high around 93 the slight chance of a late day shower thunderstorm that could produce gusty winds.
