A ridge of high pressure across the Western U-S will continue to bring warming over the next several days.

Expect dry conditions, and above normal temperatures. There is a slight chance of mountain showers or an isolated thunderstorm.

Sunshine Tuesday afternoon with a light East breeze and a high near 79. Mostly clear overnight with a low near 51.

More sun and warmer on Wednesday. A high of about 86.

Thursday, and approaching cold front could boost the temperatures to around 90. If we reach 92, it would tie the Billings airport record for June 1 set back in 1977.

As a cold front moves through Thursday evening, there is a chance of gusty winds and a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm.

Billings forecast:

Tuesday… Sunny, with a high near 79. A light East breeze.

Tuesday night… Mostly clear, and dropping to around 51 for the low.

Wednesday… Sunshine, with a high near 86. A light and variable wind.
