Click for 7 Day ForecastThe biggest weather question for the next several afternoons is: Just how warm will it get?

Dry and warm conditions are expected each day right through Saturday, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms returning by late Sunday. Near record high temperatures are possible in Billings and Livingston on Friday. Saturday, records will be challenged in Billings; Miles City; and Sheridan, Wyoming.

Areas West of Billings in the mountain foothills will be breezy today. Otherwise, expect sunshine with highs in the 70s to around 80°.

Warm temperatures will lead to increased mountain snow melt. Expect some rise in area rivers and streams over the next few days, especially in creeks and streams near the mountain foothills.

Thursday… Sunshine, with a high near 78. Southwest breeze 5 to 15 mph.

Thursday night… Clear to mostly clear, with a low around 48.

Friday… Sunny with near record high temperatures. 86 would tie the record set just one year ago.
