It could be a little breezy in the mountain foothills for Wednesday afternoon, and also across areas of Eastern Montana where our latest storm system is exiting. Otherwise, a sunny to mostly sunny day with temperatures in the 60s looks pretty pleasant.
Temperatures will continue to rise on Thursday, with most of the highs into the 70s. It will be another sunny to mostly sunny afternoon.
The warmest days will be Friday and especially Saturday, with highs in the 80s likely both afternoons.
With the warm up will come increased snow melt. Expect creeks and streams to be running fast and high by this weekend.
Temperatures will also be much warmer than we have been used to. Limit exposure to the heat and sun.
As the high-pressure ridge breaks down beginning early next week, thunderstorms will become more numerous. Remember to use caution when lightning is around.
