Click for 7 Day ForecastWidespread rain and snow showers will continue through the day, and well into tonight. After a break through much of the weekend, these spring showers continue off-and-on next week.

The best chance for rain in the Billings area will be from midday Friday through the pre-dawn hours of Saturday. Drier and warmer weather will fall.

The Beartooth and Absaroka Mountains could pick up 3 to 6 inches of snow, with up to a foot of wet snow in the Bighorn range. Billings will be in the order of a quarter-to-half inch of total precipitation.

High temperatures will be held down by cloudy and showery weather, with some locations reaching the warmest readings Friday morning. Areas east of Billings will be drier and warmer, and highs could reach the low 60’s with a mix of clouds and sun this afternoon.

Saturday will dry out and warm up with more sunshine.

Billings forecast:

Friday…Rain showers likely. Otherwise, cloudy with a NW 10-20 mph wind. Temperatures will hold steady or slip through the afternoon.

Friday night…Showers decreasing overnight. A low near 38.

Saturday… About 60 for a high. Partly sunny.
