Approaching cold front and a high-pressure Ridge combined to push temperatures up Friday. Highs in the 70s are likely, with Billings approaching the record high for April 7 of 77° set back in 2005. Areas of East of Billings could be close to 80°.
The winds will pick up late Friday, with temperatures dropping to the low 60s on Saturday. A few scattered showers isolated thunderstorms are possible by Saturday evening and again on Sunday.
Sunday will likely be the cool day in the short-term with the highs only in the 40s to low 50s with scattered showers and periods of wind making it feel colder.
