A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Bighorn and Beartooth Mountains from Thursday morning until late Friday. Up to a foot of new snow, especially in the North facing slopes, is possible for the high elevations.
It will be warm enough for rain showers in the lower elevations starting Thursday, with totals of 0.25 to 0.75 inches of precipitation possible through Friday.
