The spring weather pattern continues. Expect periods of warm and dry weather followed by cooler temperatures and showers, and then repeat again.
Temperatures of be a bit warmer this afternoon, with highs ranging from the mid-50s in the mountain foothills West of Billings to the mid-60s into the Eastern plains. Clouds will increase throughout the day, with an increasing chance of showers by this evening.
Snow will fall in the mountains tonight and tomorrow, with areas of rain showers in the lower elevations. Some of the mountain foothill locations, such as around Red Lodge in the Beartooth Mountains; and Story, Wyoming in the Bighorn Mountains, could see some slushy 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation.
Tuesday will trend cooler, with most of the highs in the upper 40s to mid 50s. The best chance precipitation will be overnight through the day on Tuesday.
Temperatures rebound to the low 60s with more sunshine on Wednesday, but could be back to the 40s to low 50s with more showers by Friday.
