The weather system that brought thunderstorms of the Billings area late Wednesday is continuing to push eastward. It will produce areas of heavy rain, and high elevation snow especially in areas to the East and South of Billings.
To the North and West of Billings, expect a mostly cloudy day with a highs mainly in the 50s.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Bighorn Mountains, with 6 to 10 inches of wet heavy snow possible through this evening.
As the storm system exits through this evening, warmer and drier air moves into the region.
Friday, expect sunshine and highs in the 60s. You will be mainly in the 50s in the afternoons on Saturday and Sunday with only isolated showers. Overnight lows will be in the 30s over the weekend.

Thursday… A 50% chance of showers. Otherwise, mostly cloudy with a high near 55. North breeze 5 to 15 mph.
Thursday night… Scattered evening showers, then turning partly cloudy. A low of around 34.
Friday… Sunny, with a high of about 63. Light South breeze.
