Overall, Friday looks fairly quiet and comfortable. Highs will be up in the mid-50s with a light southerly breeze.

Overnight temperatures of be mainly into the mid to upper 30s and partly to mostly cloudy.

With a high-pressure Ridge building in, temperatures soar on Saturday. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine, with highs mainly in the 70s.

Billing should easily eclipse the record high of 71° set in 2004. From Billings to the East, highs could be 75 to 80.

A cold front moves through Saturday night into Sunday, producing rain showers and pushing temperatures back to the 50s Sunday afternoon.

Monday is the official start of spring, and likely the coolest day of the week. Highs will be in the 40s to about 50.

Billings forecast:

Friday… Mostly sunny, with a high near 56. Southeast breeze through the afternoon.

Friday night… Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38 area

Saturday… Partly sunny, with a record high of about 76. Southwest breeze 5 to 15 mph.
