Afternoon temperatures will be generally cooler than yesterday. Up to 40 mph wind gusts will remain in the Livingston area, still boosting temperatures to around 40. Billings will likely be in the mid-20s, with only the teens in the Eastern plains.
Expect a mix of clouds and sun today, with the chance of a scattered area snow shower.
By this afternoon this evening quick moving snow showers will move into the foothills around Nye and Red Lodge, with a possible 2 to 4 inches of snow.
By this evening, a quick 1 to 2 inches of snow could fall across the rest of the area, reducing visibility to less than a mile at times. Snowpack roads could develop quickly, and isolated areas of freezing rain can’t be ruled out.

Monday night… Snow showers with 1 to 2 inches of accumulation. Isolated areas of freezing rain are possible. A low near 13.
