Be careful with dangerously cold wind chills early Wednesday. Limit outdoor exposure. Temperatures will be in the single digits for the highs, but wind chill values could stay -15 to -25 through much of the day.
Despite a generally mostly sunny afternoon, there’s enough mid-level moisture with the cold air in place that could create some snow flurries. There could be a problem with blowing snow, especially East of Billings.
Temperatures will begin to warm to the teens on Thursday and Friday, but breezy conditions will make it feel colder, it could cause some light blowing snow.
Temperatures could start to hit the upper 20s to low 30s by Sunday and Monday. But with no melting between now and then, additional snow showers the first of next week will only add to the amount already on the ground.
