The latest computer analysis shows another 2 to 6 inches of snow accumulating in the Billings area, with around 4 inches most likely. Snow will decrease as we get into the afternoon and evening hours.
Temperatures will hold steady or drop through the day, and snow will land as the temperatures get colder. The sky will start to clear overnight. With fresh snow on the ground and a cold Arctic high, temperatures could easily be in the 20s below zero early Saturday.
The record low Saturday morning and Billings is -24.
Temperature stay cold Saturday, with highs in the single digits above and below zero. But, adding additional wind chills Saturday.
Winds become stronger Sunday through at least Tuesday with gusts to around 40 mph possible. Areas of whiteout conditions, drifting snow, and bitter cold wind chills are likely.

Friday… Snow with additional accumulations tapering off during the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will hold steady or drop through the day
Friday night… Snow showers during the evening with clearing overnight. The low could drop to about -22.
Saturday… Bitter cold wind chill temperatures with a high of about -1. Sunny to mostly sunny.
