Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine today, with temperatures mainly in the single digits. The wind will generally be light, but enough to aggravate some cold wind chills.
Partly cloudy overnight, and virtually all of the region should be in the single digits below zero early Thursday.
Highs on Thursday will be in the single digits to low teens, and will continue to hit only the teens for the highs on Friday and Saturday. Sunday may be the warmest day through the middle of next week, and the highs will only get the low 20s.
In addition to the chill sticking around, we will start to pick up scattered snow showers by Friday. A chance of light snow is possible pretty much every day, but will remain very hit and miss.
