As a cold front moves through the region last night, snow showers split as they moved around the Billings area. However, areas like Red Lodge have slick roads and snow cover.
Additional snowfall is possible today, especially favoring areas East of Billings. A quick inch or two of snowfall could affect visibility in some areas.
Temperatures will basically hold steady or drop through the afternoon, with a mix of clouds, light snow showers, and filtered sunshine. Overnight temperatures will drop to the single digits above and below zero to generally mostly cloudy sky.
Especially through Thursday, temperatures will be very cold. Highs in the single digits to low teens, with overnight temperatures in the single digits above and below zero. Wind chills will make it feel much colder, so dress for the weather and check travel conditions.
