A strong Arctic cold front will surge into Montana Sunday night and Monday. It will bring the coldest temperatures we’ve seen so far this season.
In the short-term, and upper trough moving across the region today will bring a mix of clouds and sun. There is a chance of hit and miss showers Thursday Friday. Highs will be mainly in the 30s to low 40s.
A high-pressure Ridge over the weekend will boost temperatures to a bit above average readings, with afternoons in the mid to lower 40s and overnight temperatures in the 20s to around 30.
There are still some questions about how much snow to expect as this Arctic system moves in the first of the week, but snow won’t be the biggest impact.

Thursday night… A chance of an overnight snow shower, otherwise mostly cloudy. Around 24 for a low.
Friday… A chance of a morning snow shower, otherwise partly sunny and could be near 40 for a high temperature.
