Snow covered roads and near whiteout conditions at times will make difficult travel in areas East of Billings, including Interstate 90 from Forsyth towards the Dakotas. One to three inches of new snow is possible, with isolated higher amounts possible.

Northwest winds of 15 to 40 miles an hour could gust his high as 50 miles an hour across much of the region. That could create near whiteout conditions in areas with snow.

Around Billings to the West, expect a mostly to partly cloudy day and breezy. Temperatures will be mainly in the 30s today in the teens and 20s overnight.
