Click for 7 Day ForecastWinter Storm Warnings are in effect for areas of Eastern Montana and all of the Western Dakotas. Snow, blowing snow, slick roads, and poor visibility are all possibilities.

For the Billings area, expect a cool and somewhat breezy Monday with temperatures in the low 40s. West winds will blow it 15 to 25 mph Monday, Monday night, and Tuesday. A shower is possible, but will remain light.

Areas closer to Forsyth and Miles City have potential of 1 to 6 inches of snow, with totals increasing closer to the Dakotas. The heaviest snow will be Monday night through Tuesday morning.

In addition, periods of wind with gusts up to around 40 mph could cause very poor visibility to near whiteout conditions at times. There could be areas of drifting snow in Eastern Montana with snow packed and icy roads.

If traveling, watch for the potential of quickly changing road conditions and delay your journey if you can until later in the week.
