Record high temperatures could be broken Wednesday

Expect plenty of sunshine, and temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s. Billings, Miles City, Livingston, Sheridan, Wyoming, and Baker could all challenge record high temperatures Wednesday.

Winds will be gusty at times down the mountain slopes West of Billings and keep things breezy around the Magic City.

A front moves through Wednesday night bringing cooler temperatures to Thursday, with highs in the 50s to low 60s. Still sunny Thursday, and back into the mid-60s with sunshine on Friday and Saturday.

Billings forecast:

Wednesday…Sunny, and about 72 for the high. The record for the date is 71 set in 2004. Southwest wind 10 to 20 mph with occasionally stronger gusts.

Wednesday night… Mostly clear, with winds decreasing. Near 43 for a low.

Thursday… Sunshine, and cooler. Around 60 for a high.
