Things turn quickly cooler after Thursday

Our warm and dry weather peaks Thursday, with cooler air and rain to follow. Expect conditions to feel more fall-like next week.

Afternoon high temperatures Thursday will be widespread into the upper 60s to upper 70s, with highs around Billings in the mid-70s. It will be a comfortable afternoon, with a partly to mostly sunny sky.

Winds will be gusty at times around the Livingston/Big Timber area with gusts to about 40 mph. Clouds will increase during the afternoon evening, and stay mostly cloudy overnight.

Highs on Friday will be mainly in the 50s with some low 60s East of Billings. The chance of rain will increase from West to East across the region Friday evening through early Saturday.

Billings forecast:

Thursday… Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Thursday night… Mostly cloudy, with a low of about 50.

Friday… Mostly cloudy, and around 59 for a high. Isolated showers during the day turn into a good chance of rain by the evening and overnight. 7 Day Forecast
