A disturbance moving through the area will bring a chance of showers and clouds early in the day. As the sky starts to clear later in the afternoon, be on our way toward warmer weather the next few days.

The best chance of showers for today will be in areas basically south of the line from I-90 to the West and I 94 to the East of Billings. Some areas of patchy fog are possible around Miles City and Southeast Montana through the morning.

Expect decreasing clouds in the afternoon. High temperatures today will generally be the mid-40s of the mountain foothills to the mid-50s across the Eastern plains.

Winds will start to increase around the Livingston area by this evening. The general trend will be toward warmer and drier conditions over the next few days, with most highs well into the 60s on Friday.

Billings forecast:

Wednesday… A chance of a morning shower, with decreasing afternoon clouds. Southwest wind 10 20 mph. Around 56 for a high.

Wednesday night… Mostly clear, with a light West wind. About 34 for the overnight low.

Thursday… Partly to mostly sunny, and near 61 for a high.
