Temperatures will be warm today, with highs in the 60s in the mountain foothills, 70s around Billings, and perhaps his warm as 80 in Southeast Montana. With a mix of clouds and sun, there’s a good chance of precipitation for the mountains.

A cold front moves through this evening with a chance of showers scattered across the lower elevations. Best chance of precipitation will remain in the mountains.

Things will be a little more settled tomorrow, with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs a be mainly in the 60s tomorrow and again on Sunday. A disturbance by Sunday afternoon and evening could produce more wind gusts.

Billings forecast:

Friday… Partly sunny, with a high near 71. A westerly wind 15 to 25 mph this afternoon with gusts to around 40 mph.

Friday night… A slight chance of late evening showers, otherwise mostly cloudy. Northwest wind 10 to 20 mph. Around 45 for a low.

Saturday… Slight chance of morning showers, otherwise mostly sunny. A high near 65.
