For Tuesday, the focus will change from rain and mountain snow to gusty winds. For the rest of the week, the focus will be on drier and warmer conditions.
The best chance of rain is during the morning hours Tuesday with showers decreasing during the afternoon and evening. Meantime, sustained winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts to about 40 mph could be widespread around the area.
High temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the upper 40s to low 50s, with overnight temperatures dropping mainly to the 30s. It could be especially chilly Thursday morning with temperatures close to freezing much of the area.
Highs will stay in the upper 40s to mid 50s Thursday and Friday, but will likely reach into the 60s or even some low 70s over the weekend.
