Much like the weekend, today will be very pleasant with sunshine and warm afternoon highs. But, a significant change in the pattern brings cooler temperatures and rain later in the week.
A few overnight showers will turn in the sunshine this afternoon. With a light wind, temperatures will be mainly in the 70s for the highs.
By tomorrow afternoon and evening, a more organized weather disturbance brings a better chance for some showers and isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will still end up in the 70s, with 80s East of Billings.
An upper-level low increases moisture around the area by Wednesday. The chance of showers starts to increase by Wednesday evening, with widespread rain by Thursday and Friday.
The heaviest rain will likely be from Billings to the North, with rain totals around 2 inches possible in some locations.
