Some ups and downs in the weekend weather

Some light showers are possible especially early today, followed by breezy conditions in the afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler today, but warmer and drier on Saturday.

Couple of weather disturbances will keep a chance of showers going today, but is winds develop down the East slopes of the Rockies it will tend to dry conditions out. Expect a breezy afternoon, with a highs mainly in the 60s.

Warmer and drier conditions will move in from the West overnight into tomorrow. After a cool start in the 30s and 40s, highs will hit the 70s to low 80s Saturday.

Sunday remains at or warmer than average with a highs in the 70s to low 80s. A shift in the pattern will bring wind and rain showers into Monday, as temperatures cool to only the 50s.

Billings forecast:

Friday… Partly to mostly sunny, with a chance of a morning sprinkler shower. Afternoon winds increase to 15 to 25 mph. A high near 82.

Friday night… Partly to mostly cloudy, with winds decreasing the evening. A low around 47.

Saturday… Sunshine and warmer. About 82° in the afternoon.
