A weak cold front moving across the area brings a chance of showers today. But, the bigger weather story will likely be the wind.

Highs Thursday will be similar to the past couple of afternoons, with readings in the upper 60s to mid 70s across the area. Once again, expect a mix of clouds and sun.

There is a chance of showers as a cold front passes through today but is the afternoon continues, winds will increase to 15 to 30 mph, with top gusts around the area up to around 40 mph.

After dropping mainly to the 40s overnight, Friday will trend slightly cooler with highs in the 60s. Expect breezy periods to continue.
